Dear Whitney: Lap Dancing Amateur

Posted by

Dear Whitney,

My bf’s birthday is coming up and I really want to surprise him with a lap dance. We’ve joked about it before, but I think he’d really love it. But I need some tips. I’ve never given a lap dance before, and have no idea what I’m doing. Help!

Dear LDA,

Ooh! I love lap dances! My first tip is practice makes perfect. Practice, practice, practice before the actual birthday, so that by the time the day arrives, you’ve got your confidence and moves down pat. Here are some of the most basic step by steps from any amateur pole/lap dancing class you can take.

Set the Mood: Prepare yourself and the room. Wear his favourite lingerie, play sexy music—perhaps a little Marvin Gaye—dim the lights.

Command Him: take control of the situation. Show confidence. Put him in a chair, spread his legs…

Use Props: if you feel comfortable with ropes or the handcuffs from your police girl costume, use ‘em!

Use Distance: arouse him from far away. Begin dancing a few feet from him. Use the distance to establish your control, to tease him, and make him wait.

Show off Your Assets:
If you’ve got a nice behind, then shove that booty in his face, or give your toned legs a couple of lifts up around his neck. This is your time to really show of what you’ve got!

Move Slowly: Don’t rush through it. Take your time, and let him enjoy every moment. Crawl towards him, dance around him, come close, and then move away again. The excitement is in the anticipation and complete lack of control.

But most importantly, enjoy yourself. If you’re typically shy or quiet, don’t let your tepidness get the best of you. Let loose, and enjoy yourself, LDA; nerves or discomfort will be obvious from a mile away. Just let go, and have fun!

Love,
Whitney
